Volunteer turnover and retention
Dear colleagues,
This is my second post on the AVM website and, again, I'm plunging straight in with a series of queries and requests. I hope this is okay with you all - please do let me know if it is a bit rude just to wade straight in with questions!
Do you keep statistics showing rates of volunteer turnover and volunteer retention in your organisation? Can you say how you view/tackle/address issues of volunteer turnover and retention in your organisation?
Can you share this with us?
RNIB is currently look at the issues of volunteer turnover and volunteer retention and we we'd like to learn from the experience and approach of other national volunteer-involving organisations.
If you have statistics and/or policy discussion/documents on turnover and retention that you would be willing to share, could you post them on this board (for the benefit of others as well as me) or if this is a little sensitive and you prefer the information to be kept private, could you send them to me for information and I will confidentially?
