Volunteer management software

Forums:

Hi

This is my first entry!

My organisation uses a remote access weblink duty management system for our volunteers. Not only does it record volunteer hours and activities, but has loads of other functions. For example I can set up an event and "invite" volunteers to come along and by a click of the mouse (or smartphone key) they can accept or decline!  This system has made a huge difference to monitoring performance etc

Hi Patrick

The company is Dutysheet.com

http://www.dutysheet.com

and if you go to overview it will tell you more about the system.

It is accessed by a secure web link so the beauty is volunteers can access from the workplace or home.  You can also access via smart phones but also book on duty via a "normal" telephone.

It has been an absolute godsend in terms of volunteer management.  I can collate hours, activities, set up "events" for volunteers to accept and decline, it has a skills database and other functions are being deveoped for us too.  Whilst is was devised for police volunteers, the fire service have just purchased it and Dutysheet are also developing a less regimented system for our non-uniformed volunteers.  If you want me to ask them to contact you send me your email and phone number and Ill arrange it....

Best regards

tina
