Volunteer Fundraising Manager at the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign

Hi all,

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Volunteer Fundraising team for one year as a Volunteer Fundraising Manager in the South East.

This is an exciting time for the charity as we invest in and grow our volunteeer fundrasiing activity. This is an opportunity to be involved in the development of our activity.

The main purpose of the role is to manage volunteers within the local community to maximise financial contribution for, and raise awareness of fundraising for, the Muscualr Dystrophy Campaign.

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Recruiting, managing, motivating and retaining volunteers in the South East for the purpose of successfully running an events portfolio.
• Recruiting new Volunteers and Volunteer Committees to fundraise for the charity.
• Providing account management support to named Branches and affiliated groups for the purpose of fundraising.
• Actively engaging with volunteers, branches and supporters, spending the majority of time in the field.
• Project management of national development initiatives.
