Volunteer and Trainee Co-ordinator - Back to Eath Projects (closing date 20 Feb)

Salary: £24,570

From March/April - Full-time on initial 12 month contract

To develop volunteer strategy for Back To Earth Projects in Haringey and to recruit and service volunteers and trainees onto an innovative program of environmental volunteering, education and training; starting with local food projects and then moving onto the regeneration of Lordship Recreation Ground and the Broadwater Farm area in Tottenham.

These B2E Projects, initiated last year as pilots, are planned to go full-time in May 2009. Applicants should have experience and a good understanding of working within the community for the voluntary sector and a strong commitment to environmental sustainability and local food issues.
