New £3m volunteering fund to link generations

Apparently the Government has launched a £3m volunteering fund in a bid to improve interaction between the generations. Further details from Third Sector magazine.

Please find attached an invitation to the launch of the Young Achievers Awards on 11th October at 11am.

The Young Achievers Trust recognises and celebrates the inspirational work done by young volunteers, activists and social entrepreneurs aged 16-25.

We would love you to come along to the launch of the Young Achievers Awards which will announce the opening of the nomination period. Previously known as the Whitbread Young Achievers awards the Young Achievers Trust are now continuing the legacy of what was such a prestigious awards scheme.
