Service Manager - British Red Cross - Event First Aid and Emergency Response - closes 7th August

Salary:  £19,704 - £23,203 pa (6 month short term contract)

The British Red Cross is ready and able to respond in emergencies whether an individual crisis, a community incident or a national emergency. 

This post offers an exciting development opportunity within the Event First Aid (EFA) and Emergency Response (ER) field. We are looking for an energetic and innovative manager to further develop the work of the Red Cross in ER and to take an active role in developing our EFA function.  The post holder will be responsible for managing (and have the opportunity to attend) a number of key large-scale events across the Area. They will also take a lead role in ER, liaising with external partners/agencies to increase our ER capability.

Due to the nature of events and emergencies, some unsociable hours will be required as part of this role.
