Regional Volunteering Officer (East) Killerton – Regional Office £26,000 pa + benefits In the National Trust region of Devon and Cornwall we protect over 28,740 hectares of land, 321 miles of coastline and 30 pay-to-enter properties, involving volunteers in all areas of our work is vital for us to achieve our goals. Volunteers work in many roles from engaging visitors at our properties to carrying out conservation tasks in the countryside. As part of our regional Community Learning & Volunteering team, your brief will be to work closely with property teams in the East of the region to develop volunteer recruitment, management and training, as well as opening up wider opportunities for young people and groups to volunteer across the region as a whole. Building strong links with a variety of external agencies, you will need a proven track record of success within the volunteer sector and strong project management skills. Highly organised and flexible, you will also be keen to pay regular visits to properties across the region.
