Regional Volunteering Manager, Marie Curie Cancer Care - Scotland & Northern Ireland

Regional volunteer leadership role covering Scotland and Northern Ireland working for one of the biggest UK charities. Encouraging and supporting colleagues in all areas of the charity - fundraising, shops and hospices - in successfully recruiting, training and managing volunteers. Strong first hand experience of volunteer management at a strategic level essential, along with good stakeholder communication skills. This fixed contract opportunity (covering maternity leave) reports to the National Director of Volunteering and involves the management of a small team of staff and volunteers. The role gives the successful applicant the scope to help the charity to take volunteering on to a new level.

9 months fixed term post covering mat leave.

£28,132 - £31,158 pa dependent on experience

Can be based from Marie Curie office or hospice in the Region or from home if appropriate.
