Volunteers play an essential role in the delivery of Cancer Research UK’s mission to save lives by preventing, controlling and curing cancer, donating millions of hours each year. We strive to offer an excellent volunteering experience to every one of our 40,000 volunteers and believe that working towards sector leading volunteer management standards plays a key part in ensuring this. This role is central in delivering projects alongside our internal teams to shape the volunteer journey, from developing volunteer management skills, designing training for our volunteers, to minimising risk and ensuring our data is accurate
