New Post Graduate courses for Volunteering Managers

Edge Hill University in Lancashire, are proud to announce the launch of two new postgraduate programmes in 2010 for individuals working in connection with the Third and Public Sectors. Students can study for a Post Graduate Certificate, Diploma, or Masters in Voluntary and Third Sector Management, or Equality and Diversity Management. The programmes are a result of close collaboration with sector employers, providing a strong grounding in management theory, while providing a practical base for managing organisations in the Voluntary and Third and Public sectors.

These part time courses are aimed to offer specific training not currently available elsewhere. The courses provide theoretical and critical reviews of current management thinking balanced with an environment for improving management practice and performance in the context of constant political and social change. Students can opt to take a single module if they want to improve their skills in a particular area.
