1 in 4 of us are affected by mental health issues - so your volunteers could be too

Come to our day and find out about how to involve and support volunteers with mental health issues more

Thursday 18th March (10.30am to 3.30pm)

(Lunch is included)

at: Body and Soul, 99 Roseberry Ave, London, EC1R 4RE

Model Action Day is a FREE training event that will:

  • help you address any concerns and increase your awareness of mental health issues
  • help you understand how to remove common barriers to volunteering for people with mental health needs
  • provide you with strategies that your organisation can adopt to support the needs of your volunteers

Places are limited, so please RSVP by March 10th to:

Ruth Buchanan, Volunteer Support Manager, Samaritans

r.buchanan@samaritans.org

020 8394 8325 (direct line)

This work is funded as part of Capacitybuilders National Support Services Programme that aims to improve the performance of Volunteer Involving Agencies in involving volunteers from socially excluded groups
