In this key senior position you will take a lead responsibility in developing new programmes and leading edge initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Business Development & Communications, you'll develop income generation strategies in support of our existing and new programmes to contribute to organisational sustainability. An innovative thinker and experienced professional in the field of volunteering policy and strategy you'll create new dynamic partnerships and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships.
Online Content and Services Officer (ref. BDC02:09
Grade 5 £22,448 to £29,983 Permanent, 21 hours per week
With lots of creativity, energy and enthusiasm you'll deliver, develop, and co-ordinate engaging and accessible content for our managed websites. Proven experience in the use of web-based content management systems is essential combined with a real flair for communications. You'll have strong copy writing skill and editing experience to ensure that our key activities are communicated effectively.

Project Manager (ref. PS01:09)
Grade 6 £24,332 to £31,867 Permanent
In this key delivery role, you'll have recent experience in successfully managing and delivering a portfolio of projects. You'll have a proven track record in project delivery and partnership working externally with a wide range of stakeholders, influencing at a senior level. Combined with a strong knowledge of project management methodology you'll ensure that all objectives are met effectively. Initially focusing on our innovative Health and Wellbeing programme, you'll also lead, deliver and contribute to a variety of projects supporting our strategic programmes.
Programme and Project Support Officer (ref. PS02:09)
Grade 5 £22,448 to £29,983 Permanent
In this key technical specialist role, you'll be responsible for the planning, allocation and monitoring of resources and activities across all projects contributing to the effective delivery of our programmes. You'll manage a small team of administration support officers to ensure that projects are well supported to deliver effectively. With the ability to engage others at all levels across the organisation, you'll have a proven track record of developing and implementing a wide range of project management tools including risk management, quality processes and budget management.
Project Manager - Volunteering Options (ref. PS03:09)
Grade 6 £24,332 to £31,867 Fixed Term to end March 2011
Volunteering Options is a new project designed to advise Jobcentre Plus Scotland customers of volunteering opportunities aimed at increasing employability through the provision of advice, support and development. As Project Manager, you'll provide a lead management role in the implementation and delivery of this contract between Volunteer Development Scotland and the Department of Work and Pensions. Recent experience of managing projects and contracts is essential as you'll work closely with sub-contractors to identify and secure relevant volunteer placements. You'll be an excellent communicator with the ability to build and sustain effective working relationships. You'll also lead, deliver and contribute to our Education, Employability and Life Long Learning Programme.
Project Support Officer - Volunteering Options (ref. PS04:09)
Grade 5 £22,448 to £29,983 Fixed Term to end March 2011
Reporting to the Project Manager you will support the development and effective delivery of the Volunteering Options Programme in Scotland. You'll have the knowledge and ability to manage high volume enquiries and to provide information and advice to sub-contractors, customers and Jobcentre Plus Scotland. Experience in a customer focused environment is essential combined with high level administration skills to ensure the programme is supported effectively.
