Opportunities for Volunteering, (OFV) is a Department of Health initiative which provides grants to local health and social care organisations in England. OFV has developed a successful model of partnership between government and the third sector over a 26 year history

Scope is one of 16 national charities that distributes grants as part of the scheme and are known as National Agents

The funding received through the Department of Health allows Scope to award approximately 15 grants per year. These grants are usually funded for a three year period. Scope support specific projects designed to meet the identified needs of disabled people particularly projects involving disabled volunteers and parents/carers. We also support early years initiatives.

Help with training funding

Mar
14

Hi, I'm new to this website and to Volunteer Management. I started as Director of a small organisation VIDES UK back in September, and am delighted to find others in similar situations. I have been looking for training and have found a fantastic course which really suits me. However funding is a bit of an issue as we have a very small budget. Does anyone know where i can find funding for training courses? I really don't know where to start looking? Thanks for any help you can give. Pia
