Family & Volunteer Co-ordinator – Family Friends (closing date 4th December)

£26,250 - £28,325 depending on skills and experience. 35 hours per week

Family Friends is an award-winning family support charity based in North Kensington. We are recruiting a full-time Family & Volunteer Co-ordinator to join our team. The charity provides long-term practical and emotional help to disadvantaged families living in Kensington & Chelsea and Hammersmith & Fulham, through befriending and mentoring services.   

We have a great record for 'helping families to help themselves'.Together with the Services Manager and part-time Co-ordinator, the Family & Volunteer Co-ordinator will:

• Recruit and interview 60+ volunteers
• Train and supervise volunteers to support families
• Make assessment home visits to families
• Monitor and evaluate the services
• Some evening and weekend work is required.
