Family & Volunteer Co-ordinatorFamily Friends is a well-established family support charity in North Kensington. We are recruiting a full-time Family & Volunteer Co-ordinator.
The charity provides long-term practical and emotional help to disadvantaged families in Kensington & Chelsea and Hammersmith & Fulham, through befriending and mentoring services. We have a great record for helping families to discover their strengths and make positive changes in their lives. Families are mostly referred by social workers and health professionals.
The Family & Volunteer Co-ordinator will support the Services Manager and part-time Family & Volunteer Co-ordinator to recruit, train and supervise 60+ volunteers. The work involves visiting families in their homes to carry out assessments, matching volunteers to parents and children, and monitoring and evaluating the services. Experience of working within family support services is essential as is experience in managing volunteers or staff. Experience in delivering training is desirable. Some evening and weekend work is required.
Salary Band £25,500 - 27,500 (35 hours per week) depending on skills and experience.
