Corporate Volunteering Manager - RNIBSalary: £38,088 - £42,234 including London Weighting. Future salary potential up to £55,602 inc LW - pay award pending Hours: 36 per week Location: 105 Judd Street, London WC1H 9NE Closing date for applications 3 December 2007 Assessment Centre held on 17 December 2007 To an organisation like ours, the contribution made by over 3,000 volunteers across the UK is invaluable. You could soon lead the small team which helps our managers decide how best to use the time invested by so many committed supporters, helping us to improve quality of life for thousands of blind and partially sighted people. It’s a chance to take a creative, innovative approach to an important area of our work. Responsible for shaping policy, promoting best practice, overseeing corporate strategy, representing RNIB externally and ensuring we deliver on our key objectives, you’ll inspire your team in everything from attraction of volunteers to their training and administration. As importantly, you’ll enthuse RNIB managers to deliver our ambition with engagement of our vital volunteer resource. Possibly with volunteering experience yourself, you’ll have gained appropriate, senior-level volunteer management expertise within an organisation as large and complex as ours. Specifically, you’ll bring us strong experience of strategic policy development, the credibility to get results and a forward-thinking approach which matches our own. For more information go to the RNIB website. |
