Capacitybuilders - your input into new bursary scheme for 2010-2011

By condyk - Posted on 26 September 2009

I'm interested in collecting a range of views to help inform thinking around how Capacitybuilders might best invest around a million quid in volunteer management development.

The bursary scheme will launch April 2010 and the keys to success will be getting the focus right, achieving impact within that and ensuring cost effective delivery. At the moment we're also seeing connecting with what's already around and investing in what is most likely to be sustainable beyond the funding period as important drivers to any decisions.

There's an enormous amount of stuff around, local, regional, national, and an extreme diversity of need, so please please consider the prioritisation that will be necessary to achieve impact and the need to retain as much as we can in the bursary scheme rather than lose it via complex and potentially expensive delivery mechanisms/routes.
