Can students be good citizens? Susan Nash
Susan Nash, Vice President: Society and Citizenship, National Unions of Students (NUS) outlines the economic value of students volunteering, before addressing the issue of the anti-social behaviour which has given students in some areas such a bad name. Susan highlights that students do not form one homogenous group, so making generalisations is particularly difficult. NUSs voter registration campaign for students enhances work around students as good citizens.
