British Red Cross - Service Coordinator Home from Hospital

Location : Oxford (JR Hospital)

Hours: 25 hours a week - Monday - Friday 10 am to 3.00 pm

Salary: £12,170 per annum

We require an enthusiastic and motivated person for our Home from Hospital Service. This service helps people to maintain their independence at home following discharge from hospital.  The post holder will work with the hospital teams to identify patients who would benefit from low-level support in their own homes for up to a two-week period and will manage a team of volunteers who will provide this support.

The successful candidate will be able to travel as appropriate to the needs of the job and will have access to a car. They need to be proactive in raising awareness of the service, attending meetings and giving presentations and talks as required.

They will also be able to respond to emergency situations and be part of emergency call out procedures.
