Battersea Dogs & Cats Home aims never to turn away a dog or cat that needs our help. We reunite lost dogs and cats with their owners, care for them until we can find them new homes, and educate the public about responsible pet Ownership. Every year we take in around 11,000 dogs and cats to our sites in London, Berkshire and Kent.
 
Outreach Volunteer Coordinator

35 hpw to include occasional weekend and evening work for which TOIL will be granted  
£18,913 - £20,095 per annum
Battersea, London with regular travel to other centres
 
You’ll coordinate and develop the Home’s outreach volunteering programmes, including setting up the Home’s first, community-based voluntary group and expanding the corporate volunteering scheme. You’ll also recruit and coordinate office and education volunteers and act as the first point of contact for a range of volunteer enquiries.
 
Highly organised and a superb communicator, you should also have experience of community development or outreach work, as well as a track record in working with volunteers.
