What you can do as a member?

Here we take you through the different features you have access to on this website as a member of AVM.

Once you log in as a member you can see the following box in the lefthand column:

You can post a blog post- this will be posted on the front page and in the blogs section:

You can also create and edit pages of the AVM handbook. This handbook will bring together factsheets on volunteer management.

You can add events that you think would be beneficial and other interest to other users of this website.

Here is a video tutorial for adding an event on the AVM calendar.

You can also flag up the skills and interests that you're interested in by clicking on either Create content --> Skills and Interests; or by My account --> Skills and Interests. By adding keywords you can help other AVM members to find you.

When they are submitted they are included in your profile which is accessible by other AVM members.

To help stay in contact with other AVM members you can allow others to contact you via a contact form on your profile. You can also select different ways in which you can stay notified of what others are saying in the peer groups you are a member of.

You can join and keep track of the different peer groups affiliated to AVM in the box below that you can see on every page in the lefthand column.
