Area Volunteering Development Manager Salary: £18,168 – 24,984 paLocation: Chelmsford/HertfordHours: 35 hours a week, full timeReference: SE 48364Attracting volunteers to the Red Cross and promoting opportunities is vital to maintaining the identity and success of the organisation.We are looking for a dynamic and motivated manager to lead the Area Volunteering Unit who will work with and support Area staff in the recruitment, induction, training and retention of volunteers including the development and delivery of volunteer training programmes. The manager will put in place plans to develop volunteering and volunteer opportunities in Beds, Herts and Essex, supporting and advising on volunteer management, proactively developing volunteer practice and initiatives within nationally set parameters. We need someone with experience of volunteering and of volunteer management, recruitment and support.
